What is DPR?
Digital Pattern Replacement (DPR) is the process used to digitally create & recreate products, room sets, outdoor scenery, or any imagery through the use of technology. DPR is an acquired technical skill, beyond your typical Photoshop designer, that requires a number of key software and hardware tools to ensure virtual realism in all areas of the project image, from general colour ambiance to backgrounds, props, and furnishings, to lighting and shadows.

What's the best use of DPR?
When it comes to home décor and room sets, DPR can be used to redecorate – change the wood colour of furniture, update upholstery & fabrics, hang new paintings or wallcoverings, remove walls or windows, put in different carpeting, new lighting, the options are endless!
When it comes to product shots, DPR can be used to bring concepts to life – change existing textures from aluminum to chrome, replace wooden parts with metal, reshape glass, add leather or vinyl to a product, remove or change the shape of product parts, digitally place new products on existing shelves, even build entire buildings or houses using the image of an individual brick or panel!
