Kempenfelt Graphics continues to provide the benchmark for technology, service and quality in the Canadian marketing and communications industry, as we've done so for over 30 years.
1972 - White Litho is founded by David White to provide local printing support, from a small storefront on Dunlop Street East in Barrie.
1976 - White Litho grows and moves from Dunlop Street to a 5,000 sq. ft. facility.
1985 - White Litho becomes Kempenfelt Sign & Design, expanding litho business into signage.
1990 - The company grows once again, and Kempenfelt Graphics moves to 8,000 sq. ft. at 106 Saunders Road, installing two new Heidelberg presses.
1993 - Another expansion takes the company to 84 Saunders Road, with investments into Electronic prepress solutions, the installation of a 6 colour Heidelberg Press, and a 7 colour 40” Heidelberg soon after.
1996 - Acquired Boulevard Printing and Triumph Graphics & Advertising, merging the companies into a 50,000 sq.ft. building.
2000 - Kempenfelt Graphics becomes one of Canada's top 100 printing companies and an industry leader in providing graphic communication solutions.
2003 - Expanded series of equipment, improving production efficiency & capabilities, including CTP technology, cross modulation screening technology, and a long list of significant investments in support systems.
2006 - Installed the first Xerox iGen3 digital press, breaking into the fastest growing digital print market.
2007 - Kempenfelt Graphics is named one of Canada’s top 5 technologically advanced printing companies, offering unique solutions in Personalization, Variable Data Printing (VDP), Cross-Media and 1-to-1 Marketing.
2007 - Kempenfelt launches www.WildfirePublishing.com, an award-winning personalized book company for children.
2009 - With further investments into Cross-Media, Web-based applications, and a second iGen3 digital press, Kempenfelt developed its custom K:Store, a Web-To-Print and marketing portal solution.
