October 2008: Top Environmental Printer Printing Innovation With Xerox Imaging (PIXI) Award

Kempenfelt Graphics turned fellow competitors ‘green’ with envy by taking home the first-ever environmental printing prize at Xerox Corporation’s annual multinational digital Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging (PIXI) Awards. Kempenfelt Graphics was named the only Canadian company to receive a first-place PIXI award, and was chosen out of close to 500 entries from over 100 countries worldwide.

  • Gold Award: Most Environmentally Progressive Print Consumer In Canada

The Environmental Printing Awards are awarded to "recognize excellence in Canadian environmental stewardship across the print-based communications supply chain, from the progressive decisions by clients and agencies to the technological initiatives by printers and vendors". Kempenfelt Graphics and Wildfire Publishing both placed first in two categories among 130 other entries, receiving two Gold awards for the Eco Series of Personalized Children's Books.

November 2007: Bell Canada Business Awards Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence

Kempenfelt Graphics was awarded the 2007 Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence. Presented to Barry Peacock at the Bell Canada Business Awards Gala, the award recognizes the contribution of a local entrepreneur to the continued growth and success of the community. This is the second award of its kind for Kempenfelt Graphics has received, the first dates back to a Service Business Excellence Award in 2004.
